OK I bought it, played my first game online. Seems to slow the play down alot. I don't see how a straight bomb cheeser will survive. Makes it harder to complete the 80 yard strikes. running is a whore. period.
Cool thing is it lists a ton of stats about your opponent online including wait.. wait.. wait.. yes mecca rolling out on pass plays (btw i was at 0% in my last victory) Haven't dealt with glitches yet played 1 guy with average stick skills who happened to be lapping on brett balls |

I'll throw my gripe on Madden in the hat. Never fails...after a few years in franchise mode, you will inevitably see like 15 superstars get cut. To see Favre, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, & Carson Palmer on the QB free agent list all at the same time is a bit much.

I have zero interest in Madden this year. I feel like it's been a waste of my money for the past several years. I'll rent it, play my one season, and be done with it.

Can't tell you how many times I played and threw the ball off the snap because lag caused my controller to screw up. (usually resulting in a pick) I did hear that they were gonna simplify the controllers some more this year but don't know |

Picked up the Wii version today at the local movie store. They hadn't even gotten them out of the box yet. Haven't had a chance to play it yet. The last Madden I had was late 90's or early 2ks on the PC so I really don't have any experience on more recent Maddens to compare it to.
Since the movie store hadn't broke out the case yet, they probably have more copies. Any chance of this game being like Mario Cart and having a hard time staying on the shelves for a while and selling on Ebay for $75+?

If you want the updated roster, you have to first go to an online game and download the rosters.
I want the Head Coach updated rosters - I assume it works the same way, but I haven't tried it yet. |

Just read a review for it on IGN. Got an 8.6. They raved about the Call Your Shots mode Call Your Shots allows the player to create his or her own plays on the fly and direct receivers where they should run, using the pointer function of the Wii Remote. Sounds alot like the point and click stuff in Pro Evolution Soccer which is a great game for the Wii.
