If the Chiefs do end up with the # 1 pick..
I hope they take Rey Maualuga, Middle Linebacker, USC.

The Chiefs defense has a lot of young talented players but they do not have an emotional leader on the field.

currently listed as 6'2" 250+ lbs

Guys, Stafford has nothing to work with outside of Moreno and Green. His other WRs and TEs are shit, and he's missing his left tackle. He also goes up against some of the best defenses in the country, loaded with NFL talent, every week.

Matt Ryan and Ben Roethlisberger threw tons of picks in college because they had receivers who couldn't separate and no running game to lean on. Meanwhile, the Omar Jacobs's and Kliff Kingsburys put up un****ing real stats and did nothing in the pros.

Roger Staubach was a sure fire first rounder. He only went in the 10th because he went to Navy and had a 5 year service committment during the Vietnam War. No one was going to invest a high round pick in a guy who might get killed in 'Nam.

There are 2 reasons that the only person you take with the #1 pick is Matt Stafford.

1. He's the best QB that has elevated a very average team into the upper echelon of college football.

2. Frankie hates him, and since he's wrong about everything we know that Stafford would be a great pick.
