Lying would not be keeping quiet. 'No comment' would be keeping quiet.

The individual they were interviewing said that Schefter has a 15 year relationship with the agent and that to date he's never mislead him.

In any case, not saying yea or nay, just reporting what I heard...

The Chiefs camp has been pretty good about keeping everything quiet so far, so I'd buy that.
