I know for a fact they've not had contact to this point. The Chiefs may in fact reach out to him in the coming days and even then I firmly believe it will not change anything," Schefter said.

It's funny, he sounds very sure of it but the second paragraph sure sounds like he's basing a lot of this on gut instinct rather than actually hearing it from Rat...
