Then we see Vrabel gets traded, we look on your site, and see you, Chiefs fans, fans of a team that featured Herm Edwards cheering on Brodie Croyle for the last few years, freaking out that you might have paid more than a 6th round pick for Mike Vrabel, a guy who was a leader on three Super Bowl teams and had 12 and a half sacks just a season ago. Are you all nuts? I have no idea what kind of pick we get back from you idiots, but you all need a reality check.

You're new here obviously, so I'll give you a pass. You've not even begun to see the level of idiocy on this board yet...

I like bringing in Vrabel to make this transition, but I do hope we didn't give up too much for a short term fix.

I'm not changing anything.

If I praise him in one aspect of his job, does that mean I have to praise him in ALL aspects of his job?

He's done a good job with late round picks.

That has nothing to do with how I feel about this trade.

It's not about anyone being special. It's about wanna be experts vs Pioli. I think if I'm going to be a sheep like you, I will follow Pioli instead of Mecca.

I understand why Pioli made this move and it makes a lot of sense. Vrabel gives us something that this team is missing.

No, there is a shit ton of eye rolling. There ARE a lot of people who know a lot about the game. And that knowledge is ALWAYS praised on Chiefs Planet.

You guys go on about the draft. That is much different. It is a crapshoot. An educated crapshoot but a crapshoot. Some teams are better than others at it but you guys go on and on like you have all these empirically based facts that you are lucky to share with everyone else and everyone who disagrees is a shit sandwich.

Great players turn out to be great busts. Guys that look terrible turn out to be HOFs. It is the draft...it is a wait and see game. One trade ****s up all your mocks. Information you don't have changes GMs decisions. Some of it is skill...some of it is luck. A team will probably do really really well for itself with a philosophy that you totally agree with. A team will probably do pretty well with one that you like.

Because its the draft you are talking about. Not just the game. And there are so many ways to go about it that when you folks post like you do. Eyes are rolling.

This is completely false. All of us talk about a hell of a lot more than just the draft. Check game day threads, discussions over scheme, or analysis of someone's mechanics.

The thing about the draft is that it's not terribly complicated. We aren't asking you to solve Fermat's Last Theorem. But when people spout the same kinds of uneducated opinions gleaned from nothing but ESPN talking heads and 810 sports, it gets old.

I agree you guys talk about the game as well...

Thats not why there has been all of this ridiculous back and forth on this thread and others.

There is a reason for everything...

I like the pick, I think the team will benefit from a leadership standpoint alone, and bring on the 3-4!
