It's been hilarious. Vince is melting down. Apparently Mark Henry got what was supposed to be Big Show's spot in the ladder match. So it was originally going to be just Cena and Edge, not a three way. HHH/Orton has been a cluster****, god knows where that goes this week. He's trying to book around the internet, wants to 'fool' everybody. Lost his mind.
It HAS felt kind of forced this year. In years past, the buildup to Wrestlemania has had a sort-of flow to it. This year, I cannot say that there is anything going on that I am eager to see a resolution of. Though the Taker/Michaels match looks like it will be quality, nothing else is really standing out to me.

That's exactly how it feels to me. You've got Taker/Michaels and a lot of stuff I'm really not all that interested in. HHH/Orton would be bigger if they weren't booking it so ****ed-up week to week, I think. And Jericho's match should be good, but it's hard to get excited when you have no idea who it's going to be. The 25 diva battle royal may be the worst thing ever, rofl.

The way the Chiefs' assistant coaching staff stands right now, ehhh. But if they get Romeo Crennel, suddenly things look a lot brighter. The bright light of Romeo makes other things look better than they do without him.
In the above paragraph, substitute "Chiefs coaching staff" with "WrestleMania card" and "Romeo Crennel" with "Steve Austin".

Even the '96, '97 Austin? I agree after that, he was pretty much a watered down act, but his Hart feud was ****ing epic.

I never really liked austin because I just don't like rednecks. Which I know sounds like an oxymoron for a wrestling fan.

Oh God yes. I was the only guy in my school was a Rock fan in late '97 when he first debuted his "Greatest Intercontinental Champ There Ever Was" series of promos.

I remember watching the Foley-Rock I Quit match with a bunch of friends, and after the 10th chairshot, everybody is screaming for the match to end, and I stand up, yelling at the TV, "hit that sonofabitch again!!"

Maybe I liked the Rock more because it's really easy for me to identify with a self assured arrogant bastard where as a redneck not so much.

Before the break: A hispanic wrestler says, "Welcome to the new LAX. Welcome to the donkey show."

After the break: Japanese wrestler and his entourage keep bowing at Angle, only to be attacked and told not to come to America if they can't speak English.

OYE, TNA-CHAN! GAT DAMN.

Hehehe.

TNA is really floundering around, especially with the whole MEM thing. Sting has never been, nor will he ever be, a viable heel wrestler. The fans just refuse to accept him as a heel. And it has, in essence, worked out that the old guys (Jarrett, Angle, Sting, Steiner, Booker, Foley) are the ones dominating the show, with nothing even vaguely entertaining going on with the young talent.

Where are the high-flying, extreme rules, insane matches that actually set TNA apart from WWE for awhile? Now, TNA is looking more and more like the retirement league.
