Anchorage was okay for one runthrough, I'm not looking forward to going through it again. Not bad, just not real...exciting.
That 360 corrupted file is bad news, though. This is like bathesda getting back to their buggy roots. |

Downloading it now, and it's 250MB smaller than Anchorage. Not sure whether that's a good or bad sign.

I really don't like AI characters tagging along on missions - they generally just mess me up.

Exactly. I finally quit hiring the henchmen in Fallout. They're good for hauling stuff, but that's about it. And I don't know how many times they dropped weapons on me (and of course they don't bother to pick them up later).

The only one I've used is Fawkes. I just like having a supermutant tagging along.

Ahh, okay, the download was only 300 odd MB, but the file size is actually 80 or 90 MB larger than Anchorage.

Seems good so far. Made it to the Pitt with no glitches. Story is already 10x more interesting than Anchorage.

i dont know if i said this before in this thread, but my xbox360 died 2 1/2 months ago.. i didn't care, because there will never be a better game than fallout 3, it took aloooong time for game devs to make a game i liked better than the early psx rpgs (valkyrie profile, ff7) but they finally did with this game..
when my xbox broke, i didn't even care, there wont be any other games that can measure up to fallout 3, over 2000 hours played (without DLC, never had internet), still the only game worth playing, its ruined all other games forever for me.. but its so good that i'm fine with that |

Fiery industrial hellscape? Check.
Eviscerating new melee weapon? Check. Non-story based achievement? Check. Difficult moral quandary? Check. Me likey. OA was crap by comparison. |
