OK lets see it

Whos got some kick butt video of the greatest LB in NFL history Aaron Curry? What I've found is really pretty unimpressive. I can't see in film why he's ranked so highly. Anyone have some good video they can point me too?

I think you lost all credibility on this issue when you acted like Sam Bradford was a can't miss prospect...

But anyway the only thing Cassel has over Sanchez, is he's taller that's it.

i would agree about sanchez having the IT factor and bradford/mccoy not.

i would disagree about you assesment of cassel's IT factor. he's got it. players that played with him have said it. coaches that work with him have said it. watch the end of the jets game you'll see IT. they lost in OT but he never got the ball in OT. he brought them back to tie with one of the BEST on the run throws in A LONG time

Is this a real question?

For one, Sanchez is 5 years younger. That alone should be proof enough that he's got more "upside".

Besides that, he actually started 16 games at USC and won a bowl game. Cassel couldn't even get on the field.

Do I really need to continue?

The "IT" factor? That's all you got? Yeesh.

Seems to me that the coaches and players who played with Cassel in the NFL seem to all praise his work ethic, smarts, knowledge of the game, his huddle demeanor, etc. What's the difference again?

I love the idea that we're going to start developing our future QB at 27 years old, makes a ton of sense.

Which is as easily detectable from behind ones computer watching video as Aaron Curry's intensity.

i dont agree with the 2nd part, he's taller, weighs more, has PLAYED in the NFL, he throw sas good on the run, is every bit as fast(running) throws intermediate balls every bit as well, hits WRs on the run as well (or better remember sanchez has done everything against lesser competition)

Yes please, as a home game against an overrated Penn State with the best defense in college doesn't necessarily sell it.

They do if they are playing behind two Heisman trophy winners and Tom Brady.

I've already answered this question for you in another thread, and plenty of us have answered it on numerous, numerous occasions. But I'll give you a succinct answer that I agree with:

He's already had four years of developement in the NFL. He went 11-5 in the 16 games he played in. So Pioli and McDaniels wanted Cassel because he's not ready to be a starter? Sure.

If you're going to use weight Sanchez is actually bigger because he's roughly 6lbs lighter while being shorter...

I will not give Cassel the throws on the run thing Sanchez is as good as they come at that. They're similar in their athletic ability and ability to escape the pocket, Sanchez is not fast but he's very savvy when he scrambles. He always manages to keep someone between him and a defender to get the ball out.

One huge thing Sanchez has over Cassel is when he drops back his feet are better. He sets up much quicker and his release is alot faster.
