Server Issues

Just FYI, we have an issue on our server that can NOT be solved with a quick fix, so there's a chance you may experience intermittent downtime until it's taken care of. Hopefully the downtime will be minimal most of the time, but there's a chance we could go down and be down for quite some time. If we go down, I'll make sure to post updates on the backup server as much as possible.

http://s10.invisionfree.com/Downtime_CP/ (or just Google "Downtime ChiefsPlanet")

Sorry for the trouble. At least it's still the offseason.

antifreeze~~

I wonder if it has to do with the spoofing alert that I get when I open some threads... you get a Malware alert on some if you use Chrome.

Use chrome and open some threads... 1 of every 5 or so gives me the alert.

Very unlikely... it is a process that is attacking other servers... so shouldn't affect the BBS at all... I am currently cleaning it but it can be tedious.

At least the issue presented itself BEFORE the season start.

That's what I like about you, Mr. Guru. You're always seeing the glass half-full.

If I've said it once, I've said it a million times; "Give Mr. Guru a sharp knife and an ugly, nasty, giant, rabid barn rat and he'll give you a homemade ashtray with your initials on it and a pretty doggone decent lampshade."

Generally I am a glass half empty kind of guy but I really do try to look on the bright side as often as I can.

If you want/need some help, I'm pretty good with those server thingys. Or at least I'm way over paid to work on those sever thingys, one of the two.
