I have been on a Federal jury all week over a very sexual email that was sent. 2 "best friends with benefits" a male and a female after she decided to go different ways and the male in this case decides to send a email with pictures that belong in porn to her mom, ex-husband, ex-inlaws, her boy toys, and her boss and a few others after the she called it off. What a way to spend a week.

I was on a jury for an assault trial a few years back. Nothing eventful.

I was excused the last time I was called. The prosecutor asked if I had ever known anyone with a serious drug problem. I responded that since I was an art student in the late 1970s just about everyone I knew had a serious drug problem.

That did it. I was out very early in the process.

Good thing, too. The accused didn't look like the kind of guy who would forget a face that voted to put him away.

They only gave us paper copies and would not let us near a copier...

I was called in on Monday, those that called in on Tuesday had a 4 week trial to sit through.

It's done we finished Friday afternoon I have been avoiding these place and the internet for most of the week, Guilty on all counts.

Yes it is we asked the Judge about it after the trial, either side can ask for it, they hope that if someone agreed to peer pressure on the judgment that you might speak up and say something.
