You're the asshole saying you're knocking my arguments out of the park, that I have an agenda.

Go **** yourself.

Pollard missed tackles because he SUCKED, not because of the scheme. Only a reerun would think otherwise.

if I ****ed myself, would I be gay?

If you didnt have an agenda, you would acknowledge that he is doing much better in a more fitting scheme surrounded by good talent. Therefore you do. Right or wrong and without bias please.

Just for shits and giggles...how is Pollard doing on these same stats from football outsiders this year in a more fitting scheme? I honestly dont know, so this might actually blow up in my face but I have a feeling it wont.

I have said to you time and time again that he wasnt a good fit for the cover two because it asked him to do things that were against his skill set consistently, that doesnt mean he sucks. If Randy Moss is told to play linebacker, that doesnt mean he sucks as a player, it means his coach sucked at utilizing his available talent. right or wrong? I understand it is a exaggeration but tht is to try to make a point...I hope it was made.

I've already done that. I acknowledged he's playing better in Houston.

Doesn't change the fact that he sucked ass in KC.

His cut was warranted. He was a douchebag in the locker room and missed tackles by the truckload on the field. You don't keep players like that REGARDLESS of scheme. Please note that in preseason he wasn't playing a Cover 2 and STILL sucked.

Now go **** yourself. Again.

k(ent)b(abb)_kcstar: For the record, Bernard Pollard was a bad, bad influence in the locker room. Not the Chiefs' kind of guy. Much better player than Brown tho.

I have a question for you: if I am so dumb and worthless as you suggest, why do you let my comments on everything get under your skin? I could come on here and say the sky is blue and you would get all pissy.

Shit, you jumped my shit for saying an article from wpi was pretty good the other day. It must be because you know Im right on a lot of stuff here and it really bothers you when my opinion differs from yours...? Is it because I post here more nowadays and I am invading your space or something? I dont get it.

Because you're a know-it-all prick. With an incredibly condescending attitude.

Now, **** off.

his job in the cover two was to cover the deep half, that made him have to tackle in space alot more than he should. He is not made to be in the open field trying to tackle players with twice the amount of quick twitch ability.

Everyone could agree that he got better each year here and is showing the signs of being closer to his potential in his fourth year. A lot of secondary players start to see things faster around that time because they have seen most stuff by then and arent as easily fooled.

If a player has a weakness, you scheme to minimize that weakness, right or wrong?

look at this preseason, he still wiffed all the time. hell he had, IIRC, 5 missed tackles against seattle. that is not acceptable. most nfl players should be able to tackle someone at the line of scrimmage when 7 others are there to help. a safety, again SAFETY should be a sure tackler IMO.
