Any Ufologists here?
I watched some interesting ideas about UFO's on the History Channel today.
Apparently there was a sighting at Aurora, TX in 1897. Wright Patterson AFB seems to be the repository for all of the "found" flying saucers. Hanger 18. |

Seriously, though, I put in the same category as the "ghosts" thread. We'd be far too arrogant to think we know everything about life, death, and the rest of the Universe. Ghosts, aliens, past lives, alternate dimensions, whatever... I'm game for any theory because--just like when it comes to discussing deities/beliefs--since we can't prove one, we can't disprove any.

sorry, 'ufologist' isn't considered a proper scientific discipline.

I don't personally deny the possibility that there's life out there somewhere, but the recent tendency for groups to throw the suffix "-ology" onto things as if it were an academic discipline irks me.
