What do you guys think about Jerry Hughes?
YOu think he'll fall for the Jets to grab him:
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/profil...ghes?id=496796 Hughes is a defensive end that has been the most disruptive defender for the Horned Frogs over the past two years. He is a tweener (size and athleticism) at the next level and may fit as an undersized end in a 4-3 scheme or an inexperienced outside backer in an odd front. Hughes is best attacking the line of scrimmage rushing the passer or penetrating to disrupt the run. He uses his hands well to control blockers on the edge. He also shows an expansive pass rush package. Hughes has dropped in zone coverage at times but is most comfortable with his hand on the ground. He is a solid tackler in the open field utilizing great balance and body positioning. Regardless of where Hughes aligns at the next level he should contribute as a rookie due to his instincts, toughness, athleticism and energy. |

So who do I take @ 5?.....
hmmmmm.... I'd take Berry or try to trade down.I know the positional value fight everyone is screaming about but I think if you draft good players, they will make you a better team.I would not pass on Suh if he were there @ 5,but I think thats a moot point. |

Gholston failed because he would rather lift weights than play football.
Teams who did their due diligence should have seen this. He was a freak of an athlete who played football on the side. Pretty big distinction. As I said before, I wouldn't be bothered by a trade down if it meant drafting a guy we felt had strong potential to be an outstanding pass rusher on the outside. Much as I like Berry and have been begging for a playmaking Safety, I also realize that the OLB position is probably the 2nd most important position on defense. |

Are you kidding me? Why the hell are you even on this site. It's chiefs planet, not crazy right wing planet. Christ you suck.

Love Hughes to death, but I have a bad feeling he won't be there at 2A unless we trade up.
