A buddy of mine owns this place. Used to be the Granfaloon (North). It's right in your friends part of town and exactly what you described.

I haven't been, but I want to... but what about Grinder's?
Has it gotten stupid since it was on Guy's show?

Sounds like your bud doesn't live that far from the Brewpub. It's in a shopping area on the east side of I-29, just east of Zona Rosa, on the north side of the huge Wal-Mart.

The place they're talking about (I think) used to be called the Gran Falloon. It's by Houllihan's, where I described it earlier. Surely your friend has heard of it.....

And just a suggestion - If you guys wake up Sunday and are starving, Tomfooleries in Zona Rosa has an AWESOME Sunday brunch (used to, anyways. Been awhile since I had it....) When I went, it was like 15 a person, but the food and the selection was outstanding, and it never ended..... |
