I'm tempted to grab this, but Rockstar is an overrated studio, IMHO. For me, the GTA games are some of the most overrated in history. I know a lot of people love them, but I think they're average at best, which has me questioning RDR...
GTA 3 was absolutely revolutionary and glorious at the time. It was literally blowing people's minds. Vice City was amazing because it improved upon every aspect of it's predecessor. Everything after that has been meh because it lost its awesome sandbox appeal. That's just my opinion. I'm still getting this game because sandbox in Wild West = win.

My problem with the GTA games has always been that they make running around and killing shit too much fun. I never get around to actually completing the missions that I'm supposed to.

Too bad EA had to fuck that up. Now all BioWare games have to authenticate through EA's craptastic servers where DLCs are tightly coupled to your console. What a bunch of bullshit. EA needs to choke on a cock and die.
