10 things I like about the Chiefs.

1) Loud Arrowhead.

2) College-style tailgating and atmosphere.

3) Our Red, is an Awesome Red( it saves! ).

4) Carl is gone. And though I have reservations about his replacement, we can at least agree that this team was going absolutely NOWHERE with Carl Peterson at the helm.

5) We're a hungry team. 40+ ****ing years of hungry, and no one sans our immediate rivals can going around saying, "I'm sick of the Chiefs" ala New England and Pittsburgh.

6) Regionally, we represent many states with long-term, full-time fans.

7) We don't stab you at our ****ing games because we are a civilized group of football fans, but we WILL kick the living shit out of you if you get out of line.

8) We grill, cook, smoke, and braize better than the rest of you NFL ****s out there, and that's just a stone-cold FACT.

9) Newly-rennovated Arrowhead.

10) The acquisition of Eric Berry.

5) Pounding on the seats sounds like thunder.

4) Home of the CHIEFS!

3) KC Wolf will attack stupid drunk fans who run out on the field and stop play.

Arrowhead hasn't been "Arrowhead" since Thanksgiving Night, 2006, IMO.
Ahh man, I still get shivers remembering that game. Not so much cold shivers but shivers of awesomeness.

I have a feeling Arrowhead is going to be "Arrowhead" again for the Chargers game.

KC is gonna be geeked up.

You are always dramatic and wrong. Arrowhead has been off for a few years but you don't have to go back to the 90's to find its loud times.

Okay how about Thanksgiving verse denver a few years back-that was about as close to the 90s as it has gotten in many many years. That was a great game. We kicked their ass too.

I went to faders, charger and cowboys last year-i felt like I was watching a road game.

Yea, I am just going to go ahead and not believe pretty much anything you say. You are pretty liberal with the truth. I was at those game in 2006...and was at a ton of games in the 2000's. It hasn't wasn' that bad in Arrowhead in the first half of the decade. 2007 it turned for sure.

1) I like red

2) Say what you want but the team almost always goes for the good guys. Its part of the appeal, to me. I grew up in Raider territory and am glad I'm a Chiefs fan.

3) BBQ

4) The team is usually in the hunt for the playoffs (albeit not the last few rebuilding years)

5) The game atmosphere in general is awesome!

6) The team is always involved in helping the community.

7) The stadium is an American icon and I love it that they kept it for tradition and History.

8) The touchdown chant "were gonna beat the hell out of you, you, you...you you you!"

9) The fans and people of KC are some of the best you'll find anywhere.

10) The way this team is building is gonna burst at one point. I think with the coaching we have in place, we will get the most out of the guys we have and in a year or two will be built to be one of the better teams in the NFl and be able to sustain that for a good period of time.

Go Chiefs!

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
