The pats are going to stomp a mudhole in the jets' asses. Then kick them when theyre down.
With their feet.

Won't be around tomorrow to post in this thread, but unless disaster strikes (like, in the form of 6 Patriot turnovers, or Bernard Pollard running in from the stands on the opening play to take out Brady's other knee) I don't see the Pats losing this one. As I said elsewhere, it would take a perfect game from the Jets: ball control in a running game that controls the TOP and keeps Brady off the field; a defense that gets off the field on third down while managing to defend both the spread offense and the TEs down the seams (and I don't think the Jets have the DB depth to handle it); a QB who doesn't shit his pants but instead plays spectacularly (and I don't think the Jets have the QB to handle it); a coach who can outcoach Belichick (and I don't think the Jets have the coach who can handle it); a defense that can pressure Brady (and the Jets have had little pass rush all season). CAN the Jets do it? Sure. But the odds are very low. |

Wanna hear an awesome stat?
In his last three full seasons, Brady has 114 TD passes and 25 INT.

And I'd bet quite a few of those INTs were last-minute "what the hell"s (like the last INT he threw this season, which was against Baltimore IIRC at the end of a tie game, basically a deep heave to see if they could win the game on the last play before OT).
