Your latest police state update (with video)

My favorite part: the cop yelling for the perp to get on the ground after being shot 3 times.

I like their chances on a wrongful death suit.

Nope. How many chances does one person get when it comes to taking someones life?

1 and done. This is the Chiefs. This is not baseball with 3 strikes and you're out.

Based on our judicial system, several.

But I should say that given the incriminating information provided in the 2nd article by Simplex, I agree with you that this officer in question should have his badge taken away. In fact, I'm not sure how given his admission to deviating from protocol and leading a shoddy raid, that the prosecutor's office would rule in his favor.

Have you guys seen the video of the Native American wood carver getting shot 4 times by a cop in broad daylight in the middle of Seattle for no ****ing reason? That shit is appalling. Can't link from youtube from work but it's all over the place. If this is old news, my apologies.

The guy that walks buy in the very beginning gets shot 4 times. He was carving that piece of wood with a legal 3 inch pocket knife.

But he (the officer) also might have been shot and killed by hesitating and the only reporting would have been a small blurb in the local Utah news.
A cop chooses to wear a badge, getting shot at is a hazard that comes with it. Cops know this going into it. They have an extra responsibility to make sure they don't kill innocents. And if a cop does kill an innocent, the LEO should be held fully responsible, and face the full punishment allowed by law.

They're "trained" whatever doesn't find them guilty of murder.

They should put the cop who killed this poor guy in prison.

Most people who choose to be cops are not the kind of people you want to give a gun to in the first place. I call that MURDER right there. And in the case of the wood carver: MURDER.

Was he killed?

If so I hope the cops who showed up at the end returned the favor.

I used to be down with cops and would be like "yeah they do some ****ed up stuff but you really want them around when things go bad"

Some recent personal encounters with police officers have changed this opinion.

I used to bartend, and had to call them a couple times. I was sorry i did. They are disgusting.

The good old days of the cop being someone you can trust to do the right thing is in the past.

Yeah, he was killed. The cop fired 5 rounds and 4 of those hit the woodcarver in the side. He was deaf so he didn't hear the cop yelling at him but he was never a threat to anybody. I love how the girl in the video screams "He didn't do anything!" and the cop replies "Ma'am, he had a knife and wouldn't drop it." SO the **** what? Does that justify unloading 4 ****ing rounds into him? Why don't you shoot him in the leg once to incapacitate him if your dumb ass feels so ****ing threatened? I just don't understand.
