Same school, same position, same plays that Bey ran. Smith isn't as fast, but close, and gets better separation than Bey, but he's far from polished in terms of being a real receiver. Chiefs have a legit #1 in Bowe. They've got their speed guy in Curtis. They've got their swiss army knife slot guy in McCluster. They need a long, possession type receiver that has great hands and can run precision routes. Smith does not fit the bill.

We have 1 WR and 1 guy who's more of a gadget, might develop into something you can use in the slot. I'd love Pettis, but if we get someone in FA like James Jones...

I used to hope Julio Jones might fall to us, but his worst case is Bengals passing on WR, Green going to Cleveland and Jones going to St Louis. More likely Green to Cinci and Jones to Cleveland.
