Let me help.

He needs to lead a last minute comeback win in the playoffs agaisnt the Ravens D with no blocking, no running game and no WRs. And no defense either. He needs to lead 3 4th qtr comebacks all in the same game.

I can tell you that for me, I was very disappointed that we traded for Cassel instead of drafting a franchise QB. So to prove my disappointment wrong, he has to do the things that a franchise QB should do, which is the thing that no Chiefs QB has done in awhile:

Win a playoff game. So far he's 0-1. If he gets another chance this year, I hope like hell that he has a better performance than he did in January

No, he just needs to win one. At the very least, he shouldn't throw those idiot bone-headed interceptions that he did

Without going back and linking it the truth is he has done so more then once in his career. That said I'm not pimping the guy I'm just trying to see the reality of Matt Cassel.

I'm not trying to champion for ayers, just like to laugh at some of the talk.

if ayers is the guy todd, scott and romeo thinks helps this team and there's not a better option on their board at 21, they have to ask "is ayers going to still be there in the second when we pick?" If the answer is probably not, then you take him.

A lot of posters on CP often times, let draft grades carry to much weight in their takes, JMHO.

there is no such thing as a little to early to pick unless its a full round to early.

Continue to improve on his progress during last season and play with a little more consistency through the 2011 season, and into the playoffs.

That's assuming that Todd and Scott think that there are no other players who will make as big of an impact or do as well on the Chiefs as Ayers.

I and many others simply believe there are many possible selections out there who will be better players in the NFL.

That's what's great about the draft. We're free to have these kind of discussions until the draft happens. Then all we're doing is posting poop threads and making weak speculations about how the season will go. Personally, I know what I'd rather be talking about.
