Oh hell, I forgot Del Rio got drafted to raw. Sucks he will get stuck in midcard hell now
E: But really, they don't seem to follow the whole brand split too well as of recent. Del Rio has been on both shows for awhile.... |

I think they'll continue Del Rio's moon push, and eventually give him a title.
What I'm wondering if somebody's about to go face on Raw. Too early for Del Rio. Punk? Couldn't be Miz. Seems like they're pretty heel heavy right now at the top. |

I think it's quite possible we see a Miz turn in the near future. They've been hinting at it from time to time and he does really well as PR for the company.
E: I would strongly suggest watching the period of the "smackdown six" Was in the summer of 2002 and it featured Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Eddie+Chavo Guerrero, Rey Mysterio and Edge with Paul Heyman booking some of the best wrestling I've seen in the WWE at all. It was the best period the WWE had post attitude era that hardly anyone remembers. They would just go out and put on really great matches. Last edited by BryanBusby; 04-25-2011 at 11:01 PM.. |

Tough enough is the best show WWE has. Can't believe they cut this part last night.

If Punk leaves, I may quit watching. As bad as certain shows have been in the past, I've never really been so fed up that I wanted to stop, usually because there was at least one guy holding it together.
First, Shawn Michaels retired, which I didn't really mind because 1) I wanted to see him go out healthy and not try & hold on too long like Flair and 2) because I could always fall back on Edge, Jericho & Punk. Then Jericho took his hiatus. No biggie, still have Edge & Punk... Edge retires. And then there was one... Now Punk might be leaving? It might be different if WWE had managed to make me care about someone else, but they haven't. I'm seriously annoyed about this if it's true (which wouldn't surprise me at all). Oh, and Extreme Rules spoiler:

I was just reading up on that. It sounds like it was a better PPV than mania. Imagine that, less focus on backstage bullshit, give wrestlers time to work and you have a show with 5 or 6 of the best matches in WWE this year so far, if reviews online are reliable.

Regarding Punk, I just listened to a Meltzer radio show from Friday, and according him, the story is simply that Punk wants some time off, and that it's not a situation of a guy wanting to leave WWE.
