***OFFICIAL Walterfootball.com Mock Draft Thread***

He updates his mock draft like once a week.....so I'll just post them when I see them.

http://www.walterfootball.com/draft2011.php

#23 - Kansas City Chiefs: Jonathan Baldwin, WR, Pittsburgh

A list of players who have lined up across from Dwayne Bowe this season: Chris Chambers, Terrance Copper and Verran Tucker. Bleh.

Jonathan Baldwin has struggled this year amid quarterbacking issues, but he's still a physical freak at 6-5, 230.
Quote:
#54 - Kansas City Chiefs: Jabaal Sheard, DE/OLB, Pittsburgh

The Chiefs have only one reliable pass-rusher. Adding a solid complement across from Tamba Hali would take Kansas City's defense to the next level.
Quote:
#87 - Kansas City Chiefs: Christian Ballard, DE/DT, Iowa

The Chiefs could use some help up front; they've struggled against the run lately after a great start to the season in that department.

Gotta believe we would need to go up to 9 at the latest because the skins would want him at 10. And the lowest he would possible go is is to the rams at 14.
He didn't happen to call Julio Jones a once in a generation player, did he?

Julio Jones would be a great pickup that is for sure. 1st and our 3rd would more than likely be what gets it done. Just got to see how the draft plays out.

Someone would be stupid to trade back that far for a late R3 pick.

We'd have to get into the Top 10 to grab Jones, IMO, which means a point value of 1300.

Our first three picks combined are worth roughly 1300 points.

Link?

I didn't see anywhere in his mock draft or his draft rumors where the Chiefs are trying to trade up for Jones.

Tatum Bell, who had no shift when he ran and only had straight line speed, isn't in the same ball park as Jamaal Charles.

KnowNothing literally knows jack squat about football. He thinks all guys that run fast are the same. He probably thinks that Jose Bautista is as good of a hitter as Barry Bonds too because he can hit HRs.

We'll have to likely get to 13. The Redskins are going to take Locker. He screams Shanahan QB.

Yep Detroit is the one I was thinking. Also they could still get a left tackle right before Indy, Philly and Chicago.

He just said on the forums that if jones falls to 12 we would make the move. Cleveland and Washington would have to pass him up in order to make it there, barring a trade up. I can't see anyone else picking in that range taking him. It's not out the realm of possibilty for him to drop to 12 the more that I think about it. Could happen.

This is also a favorite scenario with me. Trading up for Jones.

My two favorite scenarios right now...

The trade down one that is "on the table for some team" for a 2nd this year and a 1st next year.

Trade up for Jones.

The stand pat option has me leaning towards Pouncey at 21.
