Of course, that's just my $.02.

Yeah, I would probably guess they want guys that make better decisions then ones that shoot themselves in a bar.

For those expecting trouble on the contract front: penalties for holdouts are $30,000 a day.

Yikes! That is a lot of moo lah

Gee, I sure hope Orton doesn't go all Cutler on the Broncos.

According to the Denver Post, a Kyle Orton trade was no longer "imminent" as of late Wednesday night.
Orton attended morning and evening meetings at Broncos headquarters, and the team expects him back for the first training camp workout Thursday. The Miami Herald is reporting that Orton's camp is still in talks with multiple teams and that a trade would involve "many moving parts." Orton will restructure his contract as part of a deal, and he could be waiting for the Cardinals situation to finalize. Source: Denver Post

Really hopeful for the Chiefs this year. A nice young team with loads of talent on both sides of the ball -- they just need to break out against this brutal schedule and win some games. Still concerned about the defensive line -- remains a real weak link -- but we're pretty solid on offense (as long as Cassel shows up) and have the most talent we've had on defense in a long time.

Hopeful.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus reportedly sent a mass email to all 32 teams Wednesday night announcing the Bears were making TE Greg Olsen available for trade.
"The Bears have granted me permission to seek a trade for Greg Olsen," the email stated. "Please let me know if interested. Sounds like the Bears will be very reasonable on the compensation in return for Greg." Ten minutes later, Rosenhaus sent a follow-up email asking teams to disregard the original text. Olsen is known to be seeking an extension. Perhaps talks went south with the Bears, and Rosenhaus wants to force a showdown. GM Jerry Angelo shopped Olsen as recently as the 2010 draft.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports the Saints and Dolphins have agreed to the framework of a Reggie Bush trade provided the running back comes to an agreement with Miami on contract terms.
Sign-and-trades rarely happen in the NFL, so don't take this one to the bank just yet. If Bush fails to work out an agreement with the Dolphins, it's still possible that he will remain in New Orleans at a reduced rate. Bush has the potential to be a matchup nightmare for a QB who can make adjustments at the line of scrimmage, but that's not Chad Henne. This trade would take Miami out of the mix for Ahmad Bradshaw, though a bigger back like Marion Barber could still be pursued as insurance for early-down rookie Daniel Thomas. Filed to ESPN: Washington traded DT Albert Haynesworth to the New England Patriots for a fifth-round pick in 2013.
