And there won't be a single trophy from the next 3 years in your case as a result of trading for an old washed up Carson Palmer.

But the Raiders do have a chance, the Chiefs have ZERo chance and will start all over next year with a new coach when Haley is fired in the off-season.

I would rather trade a first away on a proven player like Seymour or Palmer than waste it on an unknown like Russell.
You guys have all your picks and still don't have shit to show for it, these are two teams going in opposite directions. |

You'll be starting over in a year when the QB fizzles out. Get ****ing real with your nonsense. This isn't the Carson Palmer of 2004 you traded for. It's the one in 2011 that doesn't have the arm strength and hasn't played a down of football in 10 months. The Raiders aren't even the 6th best team in the AFC. You trading away 2 high picks for a guy that's just a name is an insanely irresponsible thing. But you keep putting a bow around it like you hit the brokedick QB lottery.

No, they do not have a chance at winning the SB.....AND they just mortgaged away probably 2 more years worth.
Its cool you are so excited though.....I hope you stay pumped up and get pumped up even higher so I can be there to laugh at you when it all comes crashing down.

Bad move? Hell yes... Before you bash Routt though, look at his numbers. Hall, in and out, mistake realized quick.

I remember the same thing being said about an old washed up Jim Plunkett. Just before his two SuperBowl wins. Sure... its a gamble. Only the Planet considers it an absolute lock that Palmer will fail.
