Given that it's a slow Friday otherwise, I'll just let it go for now. I'd imagine the thread contest with lag is more fun overall than no thread contest without lag. I'll lock them tomorrow morning, though.

It's a weird deal - the number of posts in a day isn't an issue, but a ton of people posting in a big thread causes the server to lag here and there. Damn inefficient DB.

It seems fine for me right now, but I guess one option is to bump the time between posts up a bit if it gets bad for everyone... they seemed to enjoy it yesterday afternoon when I set it to 3 minutes.
