I don't know how these guys train cadaver dogs. It's kind of spooky, actually.
It seems like it would be impossible to get them to "Sit!", "Speak!", "Shake!", "Roll Over!", or anything, really. "Lay Down And Be Real Quiet!" would be about the only command I can see working. FAX |

I remember what it was. This one dog went like miles and miles, down the road and all over the ****ing place and actually located the body. Lemme see if I can dig up a story about it.
Nevermind, google is riddled with this story on a cadaver dog search. |

Not sure. It was a few years ago. I really remember the story about the one where the dog was running down the road, nose to the ground, and ended up either finding the body in a trunk or someplace.

Rigamortis doesn’t start setting in for an hour or so and bloating, when the real juices start flowing, is noticeable around 24 hours. That was a serious question. What does it take, an hour? Less, more? If you don’t know it is acceptable to not answer.

I did some looking the other day, and I don't recall exactly, but it was very quick. And they said a dog can find a sunken body under running water that was fairly deep.
