Jim Nance is on the latest Rich Eisen podcast and Rich asked him something like are the Pats the best team he's called this year. And Nance said he got to call the Packers during their blowout win over Denver.
They were talking about the fact that most all of the games Nance has called this year have been blowouts, which I assume is why he began to elaborate like he did. But he said that when he saw Denver @ Green Bay on his schedule, he thought "Boy, that one could be a blowout". Then he started doing his prep-work the week of the game. Again, he thought "You know, this one could be a blowout". Then I think he said he got to Green Bay on Friday, talked to the coaches and did all that stuff, and thought again "Wow, this one could be a blowout". Then on Saturday he talked with the Broncos. After that, his thought became "This is definitely going to be a blowout". |

Was that game really an NFL game, though?

I'm just glad the Broncos have removed themselves from the Luck race.
And Elvis Dumervil remains sackless.

Denver doesn't want or need Andrew Luck. Tebow proved yesterday that he should have been the #1 overall pick last year and is making teams look stupid for passing on him. Von Miller got his 6th sack of the season though.

Tebow played the worst 57 minutes I've ever seen from a quarterback. Then he played average for 3 minutes. Thanks to that, you guys can't get Luck and you have a shitty running back playing quarterback

He played like John Elway would have in the final three minutes. He has the "it factor", or the the "clutch gene". He lifts the play of others around him. Who gives a shit about Luck? Luck may be more polished than Tebow, but he doesn't have the heart, desire, toughness, and will to win that Tebow does. Tebow is the most battle tested QB to come out in decades, he has played in big games and has never been afraid of the moment. Denver has their franchise QB and he is going to be a thorn in your side for years to come. He has all the tools to become a great passer in the NFL. You won't believe your eyes when you see Tebow play next season, he is going to be a very rare talent, the likes of which the NFL has never seen.
