Walt also had a quick cameo during the drugged out party scene at Jesse's place. The morning after, some dude wakes up on the floor and sits up. I'm positive it's Cranston with a wig on.

I purposely haven't been to this thread because I've had the last 4 episodes taped and watched last weekend. I saw the final episode 3 times alone. This has definitely been my favorite show ever. It sometimes is far-fetched, but always entertaining.
Some of my observations: How can Walt be so smart and so stupid at the same time? I know he's supposed to have cancer but he never really seems sick. Why does he have a full goatee and eyebrows but no hair? Why is Skyler getting so fat? Did she have a baby in real life? So many awesome characters; Gus and Saul tie for best. How can AMC not continue this show? It's the best thing on TV. Guesses for final season: Walt dies in final episode. That's a given. But who kills him? Hank? Skyler? RJ? Jesse would be too obvious. I'm guessing Walt, Jesse and Mike start their own lab cause Walt is broke after all his efforts. Saul gets it on with Skyler. A new character appears to take Gus' place. Owner of the laundry? Hank of course will finally figure things out to make it interesting. Would love to see more flashbacks of the twins when they do Gus'. Till next season!

Almost caught up. Just got done with Episode 6 of season 4. Started watching the show about 2 weeks ago, so I've been watching almost 2 episodes every day. Crazy.
But I'm confused on this episode. Skyler has a problem with the car, but couldn't they just say they purchased the car with the money Walt won Black Jack with? If they have enough money to buy a car wash, why would the IRS not think they have enough money to buy a new car? And on the Open House episode, something that bothered the **** out of me was the comment Marie made when talking about the spoons. The realtor said "There are 50 spoons, one for every US state". Marie then said "Actually, Puerto Rico isn't a state". What were the writers trying to imply here? Or am I just reading too much into it? Did Marie actually think that there are 49 states or something?

2. Maybe one of the spoons was from Puerto Rico and she was calling the realtor on being a dumbass? |

If you're dealing meth reporting $40k a year (as they said on the show) to the IRS the last thing you want is for Susie next door neighbor who spends her days looking for something to gossip about to see a brand new years worth of income muscle car in your driveway with a newborn and two unemployed homeowners that just bought a car wash. No offense, but it's funny you point out that as opposed to him blowing it up without any repercussions. No idea with with the spoons. That was the one short period in the series where they lost my interest. Also...did anyone notice all the purple they were putting on display. The two Mexican gangsters shirts, Gus's suits all being purple. I gotta brag a little bit here as well; as soon as Walt's wife boss opened the door to his house to get him to mail the check there was a bowl of oranges on the table and I pointed out that someone was going to die. An homage to 'The Godfather'. (her boss slips on the carpet)

But the question still hasn't been answered. If you have enough money to buy a $800,000 car wash, you think the big deal will be the $25,000 dodge challenger? Doesn't add up.

Business loans on an investment that you've convinced the bank will yield returns as opposed to something that will depreciate the minute you drive it off the lot is how I saw it. Don't know, didn't find that very hard to swallow into the plot. It's all about being able to prove your numbers and I'm guessing the muscle car (don't know the name) would have risked putting them over the edge if anyone called their bluff. Did you catch the part where she was making up fake receipts for $50 dollars here and $70 there? They should have been struggling to make ends meet at that point, not buying an extravagant car. Keeping a low profile when you have a million under your house.

Wow. Finished yesterday. Those last two episodes were probably the best two episodes of any show I've ever watched (No, I haven't seen The Wire yet, so don't get offended you Wiresexuals).
Can't wait for season 5. There are so many ways they can go with this show. I think in the end, Walt has to die. He's just turns more and more evil as the show progresses. In the end, Jesse finds out that Walt could have prevented Jane's death and that he was the one behind Brocks poisoning. He then likely creates a plan of his own and has Walt killed and that's how the series ends, Walt on his deathbed with his son looking at him just as Walt had watched his dad die.

I think it was more about the appearance for the neighbors than the IRS.

Im about halfway through season 3 and this thing kicks all kinds of ass. Just watched the episode where Hank takes out the crazy ax murdering cousins. Holy crap, that was some great TV. This show is definately top 2 or 3 shows on TV.
