This is true. But I honestly think Leach is perfectly fine with a bad defense that gets the offense right back on the field. Think he'd rather take his chances by scoring 50+ per game with a bad defense than score 30-40 with an average defense.

I know that doesn't really make a lot of sense, but it kinda fits Leach's style IMO.

Precisely why I wanted him as OC for a couple of years before taking over. Defense is his last concern. If he starts out with an at least average defense, think of the possibilities.....

Uh, we have an Orange Bowl Trophy, big fella. It doesn't really form the foundation of our program, so we don't go crowing about it anytime we have to defend yet another winless conference season, but it's there.

You're gonna need to re-vamp your approach a little, Chief. The whole BCS Bowl thing doesn't really work, seeing as how the BCS is little more than a series of a monetary affiliations. MU has a handful of major Bowl appearances and victories of their own.
