Even though I think he is the Blackledge of this good QB class, I won't be pissed if we take Landry Jones.

At least it will be a sign that we see the position as a major need and are willing to admit mistakes and move forward building this team to compete for Championships.

Orton’s chances

Chiefs coach Todd Haley said there’s a chance Sunday that, even if starting quarterback Tyler Palko is playing well, Kyle Orton also could play.

“I wouldn’t discount anything. I really wouldn’t,” Haley said. “When you’re in do-whatever-it-takes-to-win mode, anything is a possibility.”

Haley has said often this week that Palko, who is 0-2 as the Chiefs’ starter after Matt Cassel’s season-ending hand injury, will start Sunday at Chicago. The Chiefs claimed Orton last week, before their nationally televised game against Pittsburgh, but he was inactive after reporting to the team facility Friday afternoon.

I really don't see why they wouldn't start Orton. He's not Joe Montana, but he's better than Cassel and Palko.
