Dan Pompei: Haley to be fired, replaced by Josh McDaniels?

http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...litz-2021.html

*If, as expected, Todd Haley does not survive in Kansas City, Josh McDaniels could end up with the Chiefs three years after many thought he would land there. Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli could hire his old buddy from their New England days to be his head coach—if he could sell McDaniels to Clark Hunt. Or, Pioli could hire a defensive minded head coach and make McDaniels the coordinator, assuming McDaniels is fired in St. Louis. Aside from the Pioli connection, another reason McDaniels makes sense on the other end of Missouri is he has a strong relationship with Matt Cassel. In fact, the quarterback and his former offensive coordinator still talk frequently.

I point to getting blown out four times and getting one TD in the entire month of November.

I point to the rumors of him struggling to get along with several people. I understand they are rumors. But, when there are so many with so many different people... yeah, I start to believe them.
I think you need to remove sensible from your name and and moronic!

WHEE I CAN BE A NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE WRITER, TOO! CHECK OUT THE NEW ARTICLE I JUST WROTE

Seahawks to trade for Matt Leinart?

It's assumed by everyone that Tarvaris Jackson and Charlie Whitehurst aren't getting it done for Pete Carroll in Seattle. Since Houston has put faith into Leinart's ability, it is very possible that Carroll will trade for Leinart to become the starter, renewing the collaboration and success the two had at USC. With Leinart's season-ending injury, Seattle will be likely be able to get him for a cheaper price.

Pioli needs to do what Constanza did on Seinfeld.

Do the opposite.

Yes, it's probably speculation. But would anyone here really be surprised if it happened this way?

If this were true, I'd be pleased to change my vote in the fire Haley thread.

Well, the rumor about him not getting along with Pioli has been pretty constant this year.

More than the rumors about the situations, it is the fact that Muir is our OC. If Haley isn't a micromanager that is hard to work with.... I just don't think Muir is the headcoach.

JMO.

No....but this the way this is raising blood pressure, it's cool that we won't all have to run around the block getting our blood pumping in anticipation of another Chiefs game!
