The MIA Heat Show Thread

LA will be dethroned. The LAC Lake Show will be dead. So it's time to create a thread to follow the new dynasty.

Going on tour starting this October.

LeBron's been a "closer" for his entire career. How else do you think those Cleveland teams with little talent won as much as they did? He just hasn't done it in his two trips to the NBA Finals.
No he hasn't. In the playoffs, there were a select few games where he took over like the Detroit ot game. And he's had less than a handful of buzzer beaters like the one against Orlando. But in the 4th quarter he is more often than not passing the ball rather than trying to take over himself.

And the cavs again, were not as bad as you say they were. Like I said, you can't judge the cavs once they lost lebron. You can only judge them when they replace him with someone decent. Kyrie irving has made the team a competitive 4-5. Imagine if you threw Z and moe Williams and delonte back into that rotation. Not a great team but as I've said before a good enough cast to support a superstar. Good enough for a top 5 or 10 player to make a good playoff run.

The evidence doesn't suggest this claim at all. In fact, it indicates the opposite:

Not only is he a "closer," but he's one of the highest scoring ones too.

LeBron led a team with Mo Williams as its 2nd best player to 60+ wins multiple times and major playoff runs. Enough said really.

I'm talking about playoffs and games that matter.

And again... Kyrie Irving is not a superstar and he's playing with less than what lebron had. The team was an outstanding defensive team and the supporting cast is better than people think. Again, enough for a superstar like Durant or wade to take that team into the playoffs.

How many times has Ellis been in that situation? I can't access that site, but it would seem to me Kobe and Rose have had far more chances in the clutch than Monta.

I can't believe you still think the Cavs had good players around Lebron after losing 26 in a row which broke an all time record and only winning 19 games

That team and the players Lebron had around him sucked

Actually he has had more. 44 for Ellis, 43 for Kobe, and 38 for Rose.

I love when people bring up those stats from 82games. Because when I think of clutch, I think of Shawn Marion. Everybody knows that stats lie sometimes. Especially in this case. Unless you're a huge lebron homer, there's no reason you should think he's anywhere near clutch.

People don't make those jokes about Lebron in the 4th quarter/overtime for no reason. Hes Provence time and time again that he's unreliable at the end of games. It's hilarious that Spo keeps drawing up plays for him in clutch situations just to stroke his ego.

LeBron has had some clutch moments, but he also crumbles a lot. When you mention a guy with the all time greats he is judged at a different level. The book is still being written though. He still has plenty of time to completely turn that image around.

I love watching that guy lose. It was totally sweet watching them choke against the Warriors.

The officiating didn't help either, with a BS call on Billups' missed 3pt attempt and then they miss an obvious goal tend call in OT.

Regardless, if Lebron makes FTs it doesn't go to OT.

Two nights in a row where FT shooting is the difference in the game.
Come on maaaaan, The Heat have more talent in one player than the entire team of the Warriors and their top player Curry is out injured. The difference is your team is loaded with prima donna bitches that don't want to bring it every night. That's why LeChoke will never be one of the greats.
