Not to mention you will likely wear out your carpet.

I have a workout room in my house. Threw down 3 of those rubber mats used in horse trailers. Work like a charm, although they did stink up the room the first couple of months I had them.

Yep.

Gonna revise my shoes and mat recommendation. Mats, preferably really thick, are still a must. Lots of shifting, sliding, and jumping.

As for shoes, if you don't have really good cross-trainers, you are probably better off wearing socks on the mat until you get some. My shoes apparently were not appropriate, and after 5 days they were starting to hurt the instep of both feet from stopping myself on a slide or side-jump.

Oh yeah, and pure cardio was nuts. (Shaun T: "I'm a little worried about this workout" me: "uh-oh")

I'm not going to say that no one could go through it without stopping for an unscheduled break, but you'd probably have to be an athlete to do so.

Its about 40 minutes, including the warmup, stretch, and cooldown, and there are 2 minutes worth of scheduled breaks bookending a solid non-stop block of about 24 minutes. That is it, just 2 minutes in the whole damned thing.

You wont feel bad about stopping for a bit, because Shaun T keeps walking around the room every so often, tapping people out telling them to go drink water.
