I hit a kid on the head with a baseball in little league... not on purpose... but he wasn't wearing a helmet and I remember that sickening sound like hitting concrete and he hit the ground and for about a minute I was in a panic thinking oh God don't let it be that I killed him. He got away with a bump on the head and I got away with a sigh or relief.
