Didn't say he was garbage. Its the reason why it happened is what bugs me.

It was purely financial move. The difference between the two in pay will go directly into Clark's pocket. You can count on that.

When Routt was a #2 CB and played in a press coverage scheme the only CB in the NFL ranked higher than him was Revis... Routt wasn't good last year as a #1 CB in a zone coverage defense... but he was still ranked #19 while Carr was ranked #21... I'm willing to bet he does just fine here as a #2 CB in press coverage again.

Routt is three years older, there is a huge difference between a 25 year old and a 28 year old cornerback.

Seriously. Give it up. The Chiefs won't do shit.

You can look at KFFL every day, hoping for something. You can refresh Pro Football Talk every 2 seconds. You can leave your TV on ESPN News or NFL Network, hoping for that "Breaking News: Chiefs sign..." at the bottom.

It is pointless.
