Yeah, I didn't even know it existed until a saw it on my DVR guide (I don't think I even knew DXD existed before then) a few months back. Ended up watching reruns for the entire first season. Quality show, as cartoons go.

More random speculation as to the aliens...
OK, this is a total guess, but it seems like a plausible scenario... Loki falls from grace (already happened) and finds the Korbinites also wandering the 9 realms. Their homeworld has been destroyed (by Surtur) but Loki tricks them into believing that it was in fact humans of Midgard(Earth) who have destroyed their world. He then uses the power cosmic to mutate a select group of them and create his army. At some point, at least one of them realizes they have been tricked and switches sides... giving us Beta Ray Bill. Basically what I said before... but a little more detailed. If this isn't what they did, they should have! |
