Todd Blackledge- Very Hyped first rounder that set the Franchise back a decade. Chiefs have Not drafted a QB in first round since.
Considering it was one of the All time Best QB drafts in NFL history-makes it even More painful. Marino would have killed it here. |

Brodie Croyle. Many on here thought he was a franchise QB.

I liked Boerighter enough to get a jersey. Too bad he was just a flash in the pan.

He did indeed. He put up some ridiculous stat in a preseason game like 3 or 4 sacks and demonstrated the quickest first step off the snap that Chiefs fans had seen since Derrick Thomas. That made him an instant fan favorite.
Hell, Vermeil surprised people and actually kept him around for a couple seasons. Even then, people were pissed that Truluck was only in a backup role with the team. The guy was going to be the missing piece on the Chiefs defense, propelling us to a Super Bowl after we lost to the Colts in 2003. Then we traded his ass to the Packers. Heh. Ugh. Rough times. That was around the same period as Rich Scanlon too, I think. |

Mark Vlasic. I remember CP liked him better than Deberg.

Your homerism for this dude is so funny. Tyler Thigpen definately makes the list. If for no other reason than your own fandom of this guy.

Anybody with half a brain knows Tyler Thigpen is one of the greatest quarterbacks this team has ever seen. And letting him go is one of the greatest mistakes in sports history, on par with the Red Sox trading Ruth.
