How much better did they get though? They added a defensive presence while dealing 2 of their top 4 scorers. They also did this while helping the Lakers, a team they've had more than a hard time getting passed in the playoffs, become one of the most dominant rosters in the league.

Defense. The nuggets are basically the basketball version of the 2003 chiefs. They needed a big man with defense and Iggy provides that.

they dont have a guy that scores more than 16 a game, and Iggy doesnt provide a scoring punch. So where is all the scoring going to come from now?

Lakers and 76ers basically got away with highway robbery. Lakers get Howard for Bynum and some meaningless pick. 76ers get Bynum for Iguodala and some meaningless pick. Their only question that remains is will Bynum sign long term there?

Bynum grew up like an hour away from Philly in NJ. So they are probably going to sell him on that.

Plus playing with a good young core of Holiday, Turner, Thad Young, Hawes, a bunch of guys his age. I'm not sure what any other preferred destination would be for him if he was a FA. Maybe the idea of playing Kyrie Irving in Cleveland. Outside of that no good team can afford him

even as a one year rental it will be a good one year of Sixers basketball, and it's a great roster turnover from crap like Lou Williams and Elton Brand

I'm sure they're okay with not scoring quite as much if it means not allowing the 2nd most points per game in the league.

Sixers roster

PG - Holiday
SG - Turner, Nick Young
SF - Jason Richardson, Dorrell Wright, Sam Young
PF - Hawes, Thad Young, Lavoy Allen
C - Bynum, Kwaymeeeeee Brown (Stephen A Smith voice)

they go 11 deep with a bunch of players that have had starters experience at the NBA level. In fact there's a log jam at SF, so that will be interesting. I find it hard to believe Dorrell Wright is going to come off the bench, but they picked up Richardson in this deal also and I mean, he's gotta start too.

Iggy is not going to fix them giving JaVale Mcgee 50 million to give up a bunch of points in the paint. Teams are still going to eat them up. They have no PF or C that is good on defense. Just because Iggy can guard a SG or SF doesn't stop PGs from blowing by them or power forwards dropping 20+ at any time.
