Is there a lawyer in the house?
I'd like to know if this is a rights violation. |

The 1st Amendment means that Congress cannot censor your freedom of speech. Eventually this was applied to the states as well. I don't see any way that the Chiefs or Scott Pioli can be seen as identical with the government. Thank god for that, because the government sucks enough without Scott Pioli being part of it. These nebulous "well there's some tax dollars paying for the stadium, so that means they have to follow Constitutional rules" arguments are well, just too nebulous. They can exclude trespassers as it is private property (why you have to buy a ticket) and as pointed out they can throw you out if you don't follow their rules, just like a movie theater if you start making phone calls or whatever. Now does this mean they aren't gutless p*ssies for doing this? Absolutely not.

they should be ashamed. but then, these are the folks that invited firemen to a halftime performance and then told them to pay their way into a seat, also cut attendance benefits from the lot valets.
