Ahh 8 wins. The Hunt family dream.

If Clark didn't sour on Pioli last year after his first three years of disarray and failure, is he going to pull the plug the first year into his second rebuild, or just hope the team is a QB away from contention (what a lot of fans seem to think)?

Go look at the history of the franchise when the team has 4 or less wins and the changes that get made.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The last time this team went 2-14, Soccer Dad was owner and made wholesale changes.

So 2 wins is the cutoff?

4 Wins is ok. 6 isn't perfect but it'll do if we sell out. But TWO WINS!?!

Now heads need to roll...

No. The sample size isn't large enough with Clark. Herm went 4-12 after a 9-7 season. He blew things up, was given another year, and after going 2-14 we got a new GM & HC.

No $3it?

That was kind of my point...

You seem to forget that Jack Steadman was the GM for 15 years and had 4 winning seasons. So yeah Lamar didn't do shit

I wasn't cognizant of football until after Peterson became GM (I was 4 when that happened).

However, looking at the history of the franchise, any time the team had 4 or less wins (and it wasn't the first year under a new HC) there was a change made - whether it was GM, HC, or both.

Fair enough but he really only had 2 GM's (Steadman and Peterson) and he let them stay around WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too long.
