I'm fine, but if it happens acceptance should be prevalent since SOC broadcasted the vague " New QB" instead of "Draft 1st RD QB". Clark will OK it thinking everything is right as rain with the fanba se with the new FA QB.

So your theory is that the new GM will sit at his desk, review the banner message, and assume that Chiefs fans don't care if a quarterback is good, but that perhaps they don't like the jersey numbers of the current quarterbacks? Or that they're clamoring for a quarterback who likes barbecue?

Maybe I have higher expectations of a GM than I should, but my assumption is that a GM would look at the situation and say, "Hey, our quarterbacks are terrible and we haven't drafted and developed a quarterback since the Nixon administration. I wonder if perhaps the Chiefs fans really want a good quarterback, as opposed to just a different quarterback."

Did I say that? I said that Clark wouldn't force the issue if the vocal majority OKed a "new QB" instead a clearly stated 1st RD QB. Since there is a possibility that the new GM could favor a FA QB to a draft prospect.
