What type of QB does Andy Reid prefer?

We've seen all sorts of QB's under Reid in philly

Mike Vick mobile/spread option
Vince Young mobile/spread option
Nick Foles pocket/big arm (Coryell-ish?)
Kevin Kolb pocket/west coast
A.J. Feeley pocket/west coast
Jeff Garcia mobile/west coast
Donovan McNabb mobile/big arm (coryell-ish?)
Koy Detmer Mobile/West Coast

what type of QB is Reid looking to draft?

I don't think it is bad. It just isn't at the same level (movements within the pocket) as Geno.

To adequately address their pre-snap reads, you'd have to go over film with them (i.e. what was the called play, what was the ck to, was it a CWM or was it an on the fly audible, and then was the play change (if any) successful and did you make the correct pre-snap read)

Hard to get all that without access to Barkley...

Now, you can see some of it (i.e. checking to a run or checking out of one from watching film, but you can't go nearly as in depth as you'd need to make accurate comments as to his pre-snap read ability IMO).

Other than Aaron Rodgers, how many guys from Tedford's system have been successful?

You can get a list of QB's and College teams that have utilized the Air-Raid offense.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_raid_offense

You are basically looking at current NFL players:

RG3, Nick Foles, Brandon Weeden

IMO with the RG3 hype and the way today's NFL rules are helping out the passing game... I see Air-Raid as the wave of the future.
We could get on board now with GENO SMITH and help pave the way, or we could wait until everyone else utilizes it and we can get on the train after teams start to gameplan and building defenses around it. Something the Chiefs typically do in their mission to stay behind the curve.

Tedford had Rogers run a combo of the Air Raid and traditional spread at Cal. That is one of the reasons he fell down the draft board; a lot of draftubators thought his offense was too QB friendly.

The success rate of Air Raid QBs in the NFL is pretty low, and until about 12 months ago, posters on here were ridiculed for suggesting to draft "spread monkeys" or whatever the lingo was back then. I'd be fine taking Geno Smith, but would be fine taking whoever Reid ends up taking: He knows a lot more about QBs than I do. I'm just not convinced like some of you guys that Geno Smith is the obvious guy Reid will take. We will see.

Honestly would rather take a chance on fixing Cassel than drafting Geno. If that fails, at least we will have a good shot at a real QB next draft in Bridgewater or Manziel.

Something where our players on the field look like they have a freaking clue in the passing game. My god-this past season we couldn't even get guys open and in contrast you got a rookie QB in Cleveland throwing TD's to a supplemental draft pick.

The Chiefs have never needed a make over of an offensive system more than now.

The success rate of spread QBs was low - then you get Tannehill. Tedford guys ALWAYS busted - the you get Rodgers. Zone read QBs never work - then you get RG3.

We should draft Denard Robinson. He's black and runs really fast.
