Just watched him today, and he looks solid. They even said that Tony Dungy advised that if he comes out early that the Chiefs should take him with the number one pick.

But you were talking about there being a QB we really wanted and then giving this example where Reid would take either Geno or Wilson. It is my guess that Reid will fall in love with one QB. In that case I don't think he should **** around. Just take him. Even in the scenario where he likes Wilson and Geno, is he really going to risk trading to 8 and getting neither of them? I am sure the staff will do their homework, but I don't think they are going to mess around when its all said and done.

you very well may be right, if they identify 1 or even 2 that they want, they will look at the possibility they won't be there if we are able to, and then take which ever one, and i'm all for that.

In a QB driven league, you don't trade out out of a spot that offers you the opportunity to take the best QB prospect so that you can take the second best prospect.

That is beyond ****ing stupid.

You take the guy you think is the best prospect.

Wilson will not last until the 8th pick.
You can "lets say" stuff all you want but it isn't going to help or change the facts that there are 7 teams in the top 8 that need QB's.

I can't believe how many people just don't get this.

Although I'm absolutely terrified they go with an OT (none of whom are elite this year...) and wait for the QB for 2014. When odds are they won't have the top pick again.
