I don't understand the joy in watching someone else lose. I'd much rather have that opportunity to play to get to the Super Bowl than be at home. It doesn't make sense to me. In sports most all fans have a team that they hate. I hate the Patriots, the Raiders and the Cowboys. I will always root against them, and I will always rub it in their face when they lose.
