Would you trade the no. 1 pick for Cam Newton?
We ran into this topic late Saturday night in another thread.

I personally don't like Cam at all. He's got a ton of talent, but is an absolute idiot. He can't even learn a full playbook. Newton has put up some big numbers, but they haven't translated into a lot of wins.

He is 13-19 as a starter over 2 years.

58.9% comp | 7,920 yards pass | 40 passing TDs | 29 INTS | 1,447 rush yards | 22 rushing TDs |

Would you give up our no. 1 pick for Cam Newton?

I'm guessing Browns fans were absolutely scared off their rockers after taking Tim Touch #1 and watching him crash and burn.

Good thing they then passed on: Chad Pennington, Ben Roethlisberger and Aaron Rodgers.

This Heath Shuler pick was terrible, said the Redskins. Subsequently, let's avoid all first-round QBs, especially Kerry Collins, Daunte Culpepper, Chad Pennington (even though we have TWO first-round picks) and Ben Roethlisberger.

I bet they're instead thrilled with their selections of Aaron Maybin, Leodis McKelvin and Donte Whitner (who now plays for the 49ers).

Chad Pennington, Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers and Jay Cutler before they finally got the hint and rolled the dice on FatMarcus.

If we don't take Geno, the Raiders are going to.

And they won't give a **** if they miss out on Sebastian Janikowski, Derrick Gibson, Robert Gallery, Fabian Washington or Michael Huff.

Actually, it's the exact opposite.

If he shows even a hint of ability, and the Chiefs are even in the top half of the passing statistics, we'll be fapping so hard most of us won't have a shred of objectivity.

The Chiefs have literally been 20th or worse in passing for seven straight seasons.

We're ****ing starving.

I'm fairly certain that those us that are in the QB or bust group are going to give Geno, Barkly or Wilson plenty of rope, while the anti-QB group will not.
