Well Cassel should be next.

He clearly lost his balls somewhere.

To the people wanting Cordarelle Patterson at 1, why?

I like him and wouldn't mind drafting him, but this draft is loaded at WR.

Lack of good choices mostly.

At least from what I've gathered reading the posts.

I was just throwing around a mock. I like him a lot, but at the same time I realize that Marcus Wheaton and Quinton Patton can be just as good.

I want to get outstanding value and good picks in this draft. It's basically the same discussion as drafting Milliner at 1 with this CB class.

With the available picks, I don't think we're getting outstanding value at 1, which is my biggest reason for taking the Qb there. There's no way I'm taking a guard or like you said a Cb there.

Whoever they see as their best highest rated Qb on their board just take him there. It's too important that we get the guy they want.

I agree with Sorter here. As much as people will bitch, Sheldon Richardson would be the best value since there are very few DT's in the class.

Before people destroy me for saying that, it is an invaluable position. Look no further than the other MU DE that is in San Francisco.

He's wildly overrated and basically he's old. 29 is 29 at QB, 29 is 52 at WR. Jennings is about as fast as a can of Chili beans rolling down a hill bro.

I'm no MU fan, but waht I hear from MU fans is that the dude has pretty big character concerns.

And this class is actually pretty deep at DT too. It seems it's almost getting to a point where guys are over reaching at other positions because the Qb class is viewed how it is.

So for me, when it comes down to it, if I have to "reach" for "value" I'll lean towards a Qb because it has the potential to be the biggest multiplier for my team.

Which, like our man Dane has said over and over, is ridiculous at this point, because the combine, prodays etc haven't even occurred yet. We've all beat the shit out of each other about it and we don't even know what is happening yet.

First of all, Sheldon Richardson isn't Aldon Smith.

Aldon Smith was a 260-pound 4-3 DE in college and plays rushbacker in the pros.

Sheldon Richardson is 295 pounds. In our defense, he'd almost assuredly play DE rather than DT. We've already got top 5 DEs that we don't know what to do with.

On top of that, he has some serious character concerns.

There's absolutely no way, under any circumstances, that Sheldon Richardson is worth the #1 overall pick.

From what I understand, Breaston simply didn't know the game-plan.

I think he was talking about Justin Smith.

Well, Justin Smith was like the #3 overall pick and pretty much flamed out in Cincinatti.

He resurrected his career in SF.

So if he's suggesting that someone like the RAIDERS take Richardson and 8 years from now, when he's trying to get a 2nd lease on life, we sign him, I'm all for it!
