That 7.5 available is counting the $12 million carry over, otherwise we'd be over the cap.

I'm pretty sure you have to be under the salary cap by a certain date, but can exceed it until then. Anyway, just give Cassel and jackson their walking papers and we'll be fine.

That doesn't sound right to me. I don't think signing both would tap them out. Of course, it depends on how they do it, but unless they front load the salaries (which usually isn't the case) or sign them to really short deals, I don't see it. I could be wrong.

When you say $10 million a year, I assume you mean overall contract average. The cap hit will be significantly less than that because the upfront money can be spread over the length of the contract and the salary money will likely be backloaded.
