It's time we ban pitbulls

Their jaws are like a vice. They can clamp down twice as hard as any other breed. They shatter bones.

I don't dislike pitbulls, but I'm weary of them because when agitated they are far more dangerous than other breeds of dog.

The reality is that Pits have been bred for aggressiveness for generations and still are not, naturally, an aggressive dog.

Border collies are far more aggressive naturally, but they simply can't do the damage that a pitbull can do.

You are right. I was wrong about that. Apparently it's pretty comparable to that of a german shepard and much less than a mastiff.

I never said I never associated with them, nor have I said I've never had one as a pet. They can make great pets just like any dog.

I'm criticizing people who abuse them and people who breed them for the purpose of creating mean dogs.. you know.. by culling the less aggressive ones. I'm not sure why that should bother you... unless you abuse animals or breed fighting dogs.

I never said I never associated with them, nor have I said I've never had one as a pet. They can make great pets just like any dog.
