I haven't seen a single thing Alex Smith has done in a game that Geno Smith hasn't shown to be able to do, but I have seen HUNDREDS of throws that Geno makes routinely that Alex Smith simply can't make because of his physical limitations.
It's gonna be sad when we take Joeckel. |

Saying that, both Dorsey and Reid understand not only how important the QB position is, but how important the depth there is, as well. Everything they have done to this point has the look of going for Geno, and yes that includes getting Alex and Chase. The only thing that de-rails any of this is if Albert gets traded. Brandon Albert is the key to it all (obviously). |

Geno Smith completed 70.8% of his passes vs. the blitz last season. That’s better than RGIII’s 70.2% in his final college season.

Additionally, his shoulder injury wasn't very helpful. |

I would like to keep the dream alive for as along as possible before draft day. Are the chiefs going to take Geno at number 1, hell no they won't. Its still a nice dream though.

If Alex Smith can't handle some competition from a rookie, then he shouldn't be in the NFL. |

You can't drop a nuclear bomb (whatever the **** that means) on Matt Flynn like that! Open competition in training camp with a rookie and Tarvaris Jackson? Barbaric!

This team gave up 2 high picks for Smith and gave Chase 3y 10m deal. You cut Chase after 2013 4m in dead money. Chase is Alex Competition.

Funny i don't remember Wilson going first overall last year. You bring in a QB at 1.1 and that tells Alex Smith you don't trust him and you just wasted 2 high picks on him.
