I'm big on Sheldon Richardson for all of the reasons listed above.
I do have some concerns shared by Hamas, but ultimately you're at 1.1, so you've got to take the most talented guy that fits. I still think Jordan, Joeckel, Fisher, and Geno are more talented. But Richardson is not far behind enough for me to get upset over selecting him. |

For his rookie year I could see Richardson coming onto the field only situationally, but as he improves as an overall defensive linemen (including in his run-stopping ability) he would obviously outright replace Tyson Jackson. |

If he can get to the passer or atleast push the pocket consistently then that'd be great.

I wouldn't hate the pick. I am also a Mizzou grad so I am biased. Sheldon wrecked a lot of offenses in college.

If we are going to pass on Geno Smith, I say **** it.... lets just draft Chance Warmack at #1 overall.
We will be the only stupid team ever to draft a guard at #1.... but at least all of our True fans will be happy. I'd rather Chance Warmack at #1 than Luke Joeckel. |

I'd definitely take Richardson over any of the LTs.

Sapp is a good comp although I hate comps like that.
I really don't care about getting gashed against the run as much as I did the last few years. We are going to score more points this be thrown against more. We need a rush from the front. I'd take Richardson and pay Seymour an average deal Richardson Poe Seymour Hali and Houston rushing the passer? Yes please |

Yeah, you're right, that part about disappearing was unfair. However, I can't get past the fact there's always been a lot of self-created drama surrounding him, going back to recruiting right up to shanking his own team vs. Cuse. That kind of immaturity worries me. |
